I will say probably the worst auto shop I have ever been to. I placed my car there to get the electrical work done. They gave me an outrageous quote. I still approve the quote because money is not an option. The car has sentimental value to me. I was contacted days laterby the general manager of the shop to say it’s gonna cost too much for you to fix this car we don’t wanna have any dealings with it as I explain money is not an option. My car was returned to me without a single thing because the shop assume and I’m not gonna say it was race space but apparently they assume I didn’t have the money to fix the car. I explained to them it was my daughter’s car before she passed away and I was working on restored the car. I had by the general manager of the shop to say it’s gonna cost too much for you to fix this car we don’t wanna have any dealings with it as I explain money is not an option. I had just recently taken 20,000 out of my 401(k) to start on bringing the car back up to its pristine condition . It was so sad that I was pushed away by the shop for no apparent reason I was called by the general manager just to say it’s gonna cost you too much to fix the car so we’d rather not dig into it. Mind you I only wanted them to replace the electrical harness. They were not doing the restoration of the car , so this is mainly bother me on top of that I’ve already approved you to put in a $300 battery and to do a $400 electrical inspection which neither was that completed I would not recommend the shop if you look like you are from the community
Don, your vehicle had an engine bay fire causing damage to wiring and other systems. Damage from fire can require extensive diagnostics and repairs with unpredictable hours from a specialized technician. Our shop manager chose to decline the large project, and not charge you anything, because of our commitments to customers' cars that are already at our shop. These decisions are not easy to make yet sometimes a necessity. We are sorry you are unhappy with our decision.
